Our Story

At SCENTED. we are committed to family and community. As a mother of four, the pandemic prompted a shift in priorities, leading me to explore entrepreneurship as a way to balance work and family life. What started as a therapeutic hobby of creating things that smell good in the quiet hours of the night blossomed into SCENTED., our online venture launched in November 2022. Despite continuing to juggle my 9-5 job and caring for my growing family, I continue to dedicate countless late nights to building our business from the ground up.

Drawing on my background in supporting adults with developmental disabilities at a local non-profit agency over the past 10 years, I understand how important community support and giving back is. Our long-term vision includes opening a storefront where we can not only showcase our products but also provide a welcoming space for collaboration, community events, and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in our community.

Recognizing the importance of support and mentorship, I seized the opportunity to join a Business Accelerator program in September 2023. Through this intensive program, I've gained invaluable insights into running a successful small business and have been fortunate to work with mentors who keep me accountable and motivated.

Our goals as a business include becoming more involved in our community, collaborating with other small businesses, bringing people together and building trusting relationships with our customers.

Our mission is to create memories through the power of scent by fostering community connections, creating moments of shared happiness, nurturing customer relationships and being present in all that we do.
